General

Incrediballs are dissolvable drink balls you drop into water to make a full-flavoured, delicious drink. Like a bath bomb for your drink... but tasty AF.

No sugar. Just 8 calories. Packed with natural flavours. Add them to still or sparkling water, or turn them into a cocktail or mocktail.

Each drink saves one plastic bottle - and yes, the packaging is home-compostable too.

Incrediballs work - and can be packaged in home-compostable packaging - because we fixed the core problem other drink tablets haven’t: moisture.

Most effervescent tablets need plastic because their ingredients (like citric acid) absorb water from the air, which causes them to clump or fizz too soon.

We use Co-Crystal Technology - a green innovation that pairs citric acid with vitamin B3 to create a stable structure that doesn’t react to moisture. That’s how our balls stay shelf-stable without plastic.

It’s science doing what it’s meant to do: solve problems at the source.

Incrediballs aren’t suitable for kids under 5. For children aged 5–10, we recommend no more than 2 drinks (10 balls each) per day.

There’s nothing in them that’s unsafe - but we don’t test on children (because, ethics), so we’ve chosen to err on the side of caution.

The Incrediballs dosage guide:

- Under 5 year olds? Best not to - or super diluted (3-5 balls per 350ml). (Because we are overly cautious).

- 6–12 year olds? Max 3 a day (30 balls).

- 12+? Up to 10 drinks (and that’s full-strength drinks made with 10 balls each... so that’s 100 balls a day). It’s not a hard limit, there are no rules here. But, we’re playing it extra safe because that’s what you do with kids.

But grownups (or adults I suppose - are any of us ‘grown up’?) Go forth and hydrate to your heart (and bladder’s) content.

Weirdly… yes. They’re actually kind of tasty on their own.

You can eat them dry, and you’re not alone in asking this. Just know they’re super concentrated balls, designed to make a full-flavoured 350mL drink - so it might be a bit intense.

Basically: safe to snack on (we don't judge) but made to sip.

We’re about Tiny Balls, Big Impact after all.

Incrediballs are small on purpose. First, there’s the obvious: they’re dissolvaball drink balls. By concentrating flavour and removing the water, we cut down on size, weight, and emissions - no more shipping plastic bottles of water around the world.

But Brianne still wanted them smaller (and yes, if you nag enough, you get what you want). She imagined people mixing and matching flavours, customising the strength of their drinks, and taking them anywhere.

Oh, and they’re adorable. Obviously.

The Brand

Because they're incredible. And they're balls.

Brianne came up with the name early on. It’s playful, memorable, and a little bit ridiculous. Just like the idea that drinks should be shipped around the world in plastic bottles full of water.

Throughout R&D, more than a few well-meaning (we think) people suggested she change it - because it had “balls” in it. But honestly, lots of things have the word balls without anyone having a conniption.

People overthink names. But it… just doesn’t matter that much. What does matter is building all the other parts of your business and brand.

So, we’re Incrediballs.

Our HQ is in Ōtautahi Christchurch, New Zealand - home to our small (but mighty) team.

Our Incrediballs are manufactured in the UK, at the only facility in the world with the patent and technology to make them.

Incrediballs was created by Brianne West - entrepreneur and founder of Ethique (you know, the plastic-free solid shampoo company she started in her Ōtautahi Christchurch kitchen that went global?).

After building the world’s first full-range regenerative beauty brand, Brianne turned her attention to drinks. Why? Because the industry is dominated by some of the world’s worst plastic polluters. We’re still shipping bottles of water around the globe - and big soda keeps making promises to fix it, then dropping them

Incrediballs is her answer.

(She’s joined by Tristan Roberts, her long-time business partner from Ethique and other ventures).

How to use Incrediballs

Just add water. Literally. Drop your Incrediballs into still or sparkling water and let them dissolve.

You decide how strong you want your drink: use more balls for a bold, juicy hit, fewer for something subtle.

You can even mix flavours together (Pear + Grapefruit? Cola + Orange?) or use them in cocktails, mocktails, or iced teas.

Just... don’t add them to milk or boiling water (trust us on that).

It’s in the name: IncrediBALLS.

Brianne didn't want one big boring tablet, but tiny, adorable balls you can mix and match to your heart’s content. Want half orange half grapefruit? Go for it. You do you!

Cold water is best (or room temp if you're one of those weirdos). Avoid boiling water as extreme heat isn’t their thing. Don’t boil your balls!

Tap water – for the three-quarters of the world with access to safe drinking water why are we buying something that is free from our tap?

Sparkling water – (or soda water) turn your drink into a fizzy treat. Make the sparkling water first and then add your balls.

Cocktails & mocktails – create your favourites or try new concoctions. You are officially a mixologist (and yes we want to see what you make).

Smoothies – drop in a few balls for an extra hit of flavour.

Iced teas – mix with cold tea, this is delish.

For a full-flavoured drink
10 balls + 350ml of water

Flavoured water
5 balls + 350ml of water

Just a taste
3 balls + 350ml of water

Yes, yes, and yes.

Whatever you’d do with a full-flavoured drink from a bottle or can, you can do with Incrediballs (without the plastic and waste).

Ingredients & Nutrition

Yes, totally sugar-free. Not because we're anti-sugar, but because Incrediballs are actually too small to contain enough sugar to even taste it, so we use a few different sweeteners instead.

We use sucralose and stevia depending on the flavour.

Why both? Because people taste things differently, and we want these to taste great for as many of you as possible.

Stevia is in Pear & Grapefruit.

Sucralose is in Cola & Orange.

There's no weird bitter aftertaste. (Our testers would’ve told us!)

If you want to know more about the sweeteners we use and why, I've written a blog about it.

8 calories per drink (that’s ten balls in 350ml of water).

We use only natural flavours, colours, and fruit extracts.

They do - but not in a therapeutic dose. Just a tiny amount.

So, you won't see us make big claims about muscle gains, because there’s simply not enough creatine in each serve to deliver those benefits. And we’re not going to pretend otherwise.

So why include it? Because it plays a different (but important) role:

Creatine helps stabilise the balls, which means we don’t have to wrap them in plastic. It’s part of what makes our home-compostable, plastic-free packaging possible.

We think it’s worth knowing - so you can make informed choices, not just fall for marketing hype.

Nicotinamide (also called niacinamide or just Vitamin B3 which may sound familiar if you’re into skincare) is in Incrediballs.

It’s a precursor to something called NAD (short for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide… yep, a mouthful). NAD is a molecule your cells use for basically everything: energy production, repair, and metabolism.

The older we get, the less NAD we naturally produce - so topping up the ingredients your body needs to make more can be a good thing.

I talk about this in more detail over on our blog if you're curious.

Yup! Effervescents are formulated with sodium because it reacts with acids in the formula to help the balls dissolve. But because of that clever tech we keep talking about, it's lower than in typical effervescents.

Sustainability

Each drink = one plastic bottle saved.

So a 3-pack saves 3 bottles. A 6-pack? 6 bottles. It adds up fast.

We’re launching with single, 3, and 6-packs, but bigger bundles are coming when we launch into retail.

Nope, none. Incrediballs are 100% plastic-free.

Not “less plastic,” not “recyclable if you live near a magical facility.” Just no plastic.

This is the whole point of Incrediballs.

Because you already have water in your tap.

Why are we paying for something that’s free at home - and safe to drink for three-quarters of the world?

Bottled and canned drinks are over 90% water. Shipping them means you’re moving water around the word - wasting fuel, space, and carbon.

We leave the water part to you. It helps us be plastic-free, saves emissions and space (and your back if you’ve ever carried a 12-pack of drinks home).

That’s a negative. Not yet anyway.

You can’t offset what hasn’t happened, apparently. We haven’t even been operating for a full year. So claiming we’re “climate positive” right now would just be... a bit of a stretch.

Instead, here’s what we’ve done in the meantime to cover the R&D (as at Feb 14 2026):

Funded 3,892 trees
Avoided over 459 tonnes of CO₂e
Removed another 5 tonnes

And we’ve done that by working with Ecologi - a proper, independent climate action platform that funds rigorous, science-backed projects.

So no, we’re not carbon negative yet. But we will be - by reducing emissions as much as we can, and then offsetting whatever we can’t. And working with amazing partners to do that.

Honestly? It’s just cardboard. But home-compostable, uncoated, dye-free cardboard. The kind no one else in the drinks industry is able to use.

Our boxes are made from FSC-certified cardboard that’s also certified home compostable - not industrially compostable (which matters, because industrial composting barely accepts packaging in places like Aotearoa, Australia, the US or UK).

So if you’ve got a compost heap, a council green bin that accepts uncoated cardboard, or a community compost drop-off, just rip it up and chuck it in. It’ll return to the soil without leaving a trace.

And if you don’t compost? That’s fine too. These boxes are fully recyclable - unlike most packaging in our category, which is laminated or coated and ends up in landfill either way.

They’re also teeny. Seriously. But small doesn’t mean boring:

Each one comes with a dispenser tab (like a Nerds box, but less sugary).

A QR code to show you how to use the tabs, what the flavours taste like, and even recipes.

And absolutely zero plastic.

We’re the first drinks company in the world with home-compostable, plastic-free packaging. Hopefully not the last.

Other Stuff We Get Asked

We think you'll love your balls. But if you don't, we want to hear about it.

Please email our Sipport Team at hello@incrediballs.com - they’ll do their best to help.

We offer a simple “don’t like it, we’ll refund it” guarantee. If you’ve tried them and they’re not for you, just get in touch.

We don’t accept returns in the traditional sense - we won’t resell drinks - but if balls aren’t for you, we’ll ask if there’s a Baller in your life you can share them with.

We do indeed!

If you’re shopping for someone else (but not quite sure which flavour they’ll go for), a gift card is a good choice (although we would say this, wouldn't we?)

They’re digital, instantly emailed, and come with a unique code to use at checkout. Easy to give and fun to receive! Plastic-free gifts are the best gifts.

Not yet. We’re doing a soft launch - which, for us, means online only. We want to capture your feedback directly and start implementing it. We’re aiming to open applications for stockists in late 2026.

Fair enough. We’ve probably missed something (we made this website ourselves…)

Email us at hello@incrediballs.com - our Sipport Team loves a good question!
