Our impact
If you're thirsty for change, you're in the right place.
The drinks industry is enormously wasteful and exploitative. Each year 500 billion plastic bottles are produced and binned around the world just from soft drinks. Add in bottled water (which statistically sells the most in places that have safe, delicious water on tap) and we're well over a trillion.
And we know that single-use plastic is wreaking havoc. Plastic waste is flowing into our oceans and waterways at ever increasing rates and microplastics have been found literally everywhere scientists have looked, from the air we breathe, to inside our bodies.
Recycling isn't the solution because there's just too much, it's too complicated, and it doesn't make financial sense. (Something that plastic companies have known for years).
So, we exist to try and make a dent in this tsunami of waste. Not just through making better drinks without the plastic packaging, but also by giving back and talking about it. A lot.
What's our goal?
We want to save 30 million plastic bottles by 2030.
So we better get cracking.
We want to prove that single-use plastic isn’t necessary. That better options exist. And that we don’t have to keep funding companies that trash the planet and exploit people while making obscene amounts of money (not looking at anyone in particular 👀).
